New friend

Every day I find something both entertaining & relevant to blog about. A few days ago I must admit I noticed I had another follower & I was just plain giddy. It suddenly went from just my family/friends to a person I don't know reading my antics, concerns, problems, stresses and life. That, by its very nature, is what a blog is all about... so I'm happy to have some new followers and I welcome them to my humble life!

Today the sun was shining but it was windy & cold. I got in the middle of several projects & was interrupted so things were left undone & messy all over the house. So tonight I have to try to right the mess & get prepared to move on to some new tasks tomorrow.

I was so thankful to be home today. My little boy was clingy & tired & impatient today. I am glad to be home with him & look into his cute little face when he is upset & understand & try to "fix it". He is getting some new teeth & he hurts. So being in my lap is a nice thing (for us both). He was ready for 3 naps instead of 2 today and even went to bed early. I am so thankful for the time to be home & recognize what he needs instead of him being stressed out all day. This is the time I waited my life for & I am enjoying every single minute of it.

When we were in Norway with Espen last summer, an aunt gave him this little gray "ducky". HE LOVES IT... it is going to be a very bad day when we loose it. He gets very upset when I wash it. So if you are out anywhere & see one... pick me up 2 of them!!

It is gray. Looks like a duck. Is as soft as a velour robe. He will have a break down without it... (and how cute is it that he uses a pacifier UPSIDE down!! ~ it is his direction of choice!)
