Random Thoughts on a Tuesday

Today I am blessed to be able to stay at home. It took me some time to get to this place but I'm here now. I realized as I was standing out side on the back porch at 10:30am in my pj's drinking a hot cup of coffee watching Espen play in the dog water that I could do my gardening. So I went to the garage & got a rake & some gloves & I cleaned my garden. I love getting my hands dirty and listening to the dogs play & the cat climb the fence & Espen splash in the water just made my day perfect! And when they all came into my garden and played in the fresh dirt it was a funny blissful moment. I can tell for sure that spring is on the way... my garden has tulips, iris & some other things growing in it... I'm excited about the blooms! (But don't anticipate being here to see them ~ wishful thinking may work for me~). Oh yea we had to clean everyone up but who cares... we had no place to be today and we were enjoying being dirty! And because I am so afraid of breaking my camera I don't carry it in my pocket anymore and there are not pictures of this glorious thing.

So tomorrow I'm going to just RISK it.. I'm going to put my camera in my pocket and if it breaks I will get a new one.

I did make a mess today ~ and it is a good thing the husband doesn't read this ~ I am home & need to get nails out of the walls & paint some places & YES I SPILLED PAINT... of course I did. Generally I am banned from painting because somehow I manage to ALWAYS make a mess. I mysteriously get it on my shoes, hair, clothes, other rooms with different colors. It is always a mess when I paint. AND today I FREAKING SPILLED.... But rest assured I got it all cleaned up. Man I don't know how I did it.

I am so excited for the weekend... I will have people here! My sister is coming & my friend! WAHHOO... BUT the bad news is ~ ~ it doesn't look like we are closing on Monday and that was the plan. We are both upset by the turn of events. We will see what tomorrow brings as it is the committment to close day.....
