Tuesday

Yesterday I laughed myself silly.... my beautiful little son woke up from his morning nap (it was a 2 hour nap just 2 hours after he woke up from 12 hours of sleep) and I could hear him laughing & talking to himself & DUCKY so I left him for a little while. When I went in his room to get him HE WAS STANDING THERE WITH THE DIAPER HANGING OFF IN FRONT & DOWN HIS BACK.... he was so happy to be naked! Mind you I put him in the bed with pants & a diaper on... oh yes the time has come that he has figured out how to undo the velcor and if he can reach it ~ off it comes! And he loves to be naked so taking the diaper off is AWESOME! I was just super glad that there was not a poop or pee mess all over the place! Surprisingly he did neither in the bed!

My new washer & dryer were installed yesterday! They look AWESOME! And the work amazingly! WOW I can fit so much in them... LOVE IT! I had Espen's clothes sitting in a big bag for over a week with blackberry & strawberry stains & I managed to get the stains out! GO me!! So we are back in business!

And lastly, we started the floor in the master bedroom and we rolled up the carpet to carry it down to the garage. Well I am weak lately for a myrid of reasons but I am not feeling myself & the carpet roll was HUGE. But I haven't been complaining and picked up my part. We made it down the hall & started down the stairs. I was coming down last so thankfully there was a mountain of carpet because I FELL DOWN THE STAIRS. This caused concern from my husband and frustration because I was wasting time. I was not hurt and lay there giggling because who falls down the stairs on a mountain of carpet. That just goes to show how weak I've been feeling.

Today my day started out on the air mattress in the living room (because we can't sleep in our bedroom right now ~ it is a work site) with the TV on (oh yes the hubby turned it on). And then I was putting the dishes away from the dishwasher that I used for the first time last night & Espen climbed onto it! So I was cracking up about that & how we look like squatters who just found this house & are staying here until someone catches us....

Today I have to go open a bank account, find a bakery for a cake for a party and get some painting done so we don't mess up the floor. And I will track down my family as I see some bad storms were in OK last night. Sounds like a busy day....
