We got up early today & went to Menards! On a mission to build a sandbox for our son!! And we got supplies including fifteen 50 pound bags of sand! And then "we" started cutting & staining it. Someone had to keep 2 eyes on Espen so Doug mostly worked alone. But we were all out there. It is going to be a 5'x5' sandbox, 12"high with an 8" seat around it (that is for momm

y!). So it will hold ALOT of sand!! And Espen will LOVE it! Espen decided to have it green (it is the only color he knows without a doubt so when we asked him, GREEN is what he said). It will be cool. What should have been a 'weekend' project however will take longer because overthinker daddy decided to stain & polyurathane it.... so it has to dry....

We colored Easter Eggs with Espen. What an exciting mess! He had so much fun. Even colored his little toes! He had fun and we laughed alot!
And I am certain that we will have a lovely day tomorrow.... the "Easter Bunny" has visited & we are going to join our friends for a meal! And continue working on the sandbox!!
