Happy Mother's Day! It was an ordinary day but special. Espen & daddy brought me a daisy & cards and we sat in our pj's on the deck eating pancakes. We played in the mud & sand. Then I went to work for a few hours! Doug made salmon for dinner & I had a beer! That was the special parts.... the ordinary part included an almost 2 year old who took his pants off & pooped outside (because he could & I wasn't looking). Then he of course got it all over. So happy day to me!!! Then I had to clean the baby, the toliet & the shower. While he was standing at the sink he managed to spray water EVERYWHERE so then I had to clean the sink & counter & the floor.... oh yea!! Great day!!

And I must say that I got a nice message from Espen's birth mom wishing me a happy day... now that is THOUGHTFUL!! And makes my heart happy. She is the most incredible & special young woman. I wonder if she remembers it was 2 years ago that I met her.... I certainly do... and how she has changed my life!!! Happy Mother's Day to you too!!!!
