Serendipity Pots

As so many may know about me, I am an avid amateur potter.  I am not professionally trained.  I have years of practicing the techniques and skills.  Clay is forgiving and sometimes it breaks.  With the support of my husband, I have invested time and energy in making a studio.  Like any small business, it has good and bad moments.

SERENDIPITY ~is a propensity for making fortuitous discoveries while looking for something unrelated.

I found my love of clay accidentally through a community class. I then just kept taking class after class at community centers and have never had the chance to study professionally. I have read, practiced and I cheerfully make each piece!

Clay can be forgiving.  It is a good reminder to forgive myself.  It can calm a busy mind, mend a broken heart, quiet the worries.  I enjoy making and sharing art.  My clay journey and my life run similar paths, often crossing and messy.

Serendipity has always been my favorite word. And it is a good way to live. And a good way to throw pots!  I hope you will find something you weren't expecting.... I know I have!
