ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES

Ahhhhh today we woke up way to early (like every day) and by 7:30 we had had breakfast & I was done cleaning the upstairs... That is just crazy. But having lunch at 10:30 was strange too.. I have this thought that my beautiful little boy needs to eat with people and have food & conversation. So I eat with him! And we talk. Sometimes we laugh so incredibly hard that the dogs get spooked!! Like when blackberry jelly gets all in his curly hair (a real mess) or when water splashes all over me from the slapping on the tray. So as strange as eating at the weird times is... it is the most important thing I do!

I got a cover for my cell phone today... this can only mean one thing... a drop will not damage my phone but I will most likely have a water accident with it... If I were psychic I would be able to say for sure! But for today, the phone, computer & camera are all alive & undamaged! BUT I still can not find my iPod and I really miss it.

I've been walking on my treadmill everyday and I am out of magazines to read and with my trusty iPod I could feel energized to run for awhile. I had the best playlist in there... Pitbull, Sean Kingston, Toby Keith, Run DMC, aahhh good stuff to listen to on a treadmill. They should make an iPod for me that is impervious to water (or other liquid) has a tracking device and looks cool.

I have a birthday next week.... perhaps there will be an iPod!!

I have been reading about an event on TOM'S shoes ~ one day without shoes (http://www.toms.com/?gclid=CKmQnPWXo6ACFRLxDAodPDcCbA). One Day Without Shoes, on April 8, 2010, is an effort to bring attention to the impact a simple pair of shoes can bring to a child’s life. We ask people to go the day, part of the day, or even just a few minutes, barefoot, to experience a life without shoes first-hand, and to help spread awareness. I will be participating in the April 8th day without shoes... I will not wear any and Espen will keep his toes free that day. I would like to host my own event and bring awareness. Who would join me? It won't cost you anything. Something I will strive to teach Espen is that you don't always have to give money to make it better... give time, give energy... this annual event could be the launching ground of doing nothing to give something!.....JOIN ME??? (now i just need me a pair of tom's shoes!!)
