Things happen before breakfast

I've been wondering for a few months how I would handle a bloody banged up son and TODAY I found out ... I am quit CALM! Before breakfast, Espen was playing with a box and has been feeling pretty brave about standing and moving and he slipped which caused him to wack his little face into the leg of the rocking chair. OH the scream and the blood.... who knew a busted lip could bleed so much... But we calmly went to the kitchen and I turned on the cold water and wet a rag and put it in his mouth which he thought was fun! I then traded the wet rag for one with ice tied in it. And before I knew it the bleeding was over & I could see the damage... NONE! Unless you count the pj's we were both wearing... good grief we get messed up in our pj's every day! He was smiling & ready for some breakfast then... So now I know I can do it! It hurt my little heart some but I realize that even sitting right there he is going to get brave & banged up. He IS A BOY!

I'm so excited for my sister who has a new house!! It is being finshed right now... I'll snatch a photo for you from her! She has been patiently waiting & it is finally here!! And I say CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I can't wait to see it... Mark your calendar we will be in the area in August...
So our house closing is delayed... I am hopeful to have a new date tomorrow. I think we can be patient & flexible if but we have to draw a line at some point. And I am nearing that point. VERY NEAR. Today I cleaned the oven for them... I have so much pride in my house that I want it to be left in such nice condition for them... I've cleaned the oven, taken nails & things out of walls, patched & painted walls, cleaned ceilings & fans... just so they have a lovely space to call home... What I can say at this point is that I have thrown away alot of clutter & junk. I have organized most of the rooms to a fault. I'm prepared for the move and the house will be for the most part clean for the next owners. We have to just keep praying that it is going to work out before I draw a line...
