Be like the sunflower

Well if you've been keeping track I've been missing for a few days. I had some time with my friend who lives in Springfield & then my sister Shanna arrived. Yesterday ~ Sunday ~ we spent time all together in the morning & then my sister & I took Espen to GINO'S EAST for pizza... it was good. We also made a stop at TARGET for some essentials & came home with a "walker" for the baby. And in the process of putting a SIMPLE plastic walker together I nearly broke 4 fingers... even now 2 on my right hand hurt like crazy. It required the wheels to be "popped" onto the "axel" and I guess my fingers where in the way. It was not just a simple popping them on because I had to put all my 135 pounds into the effort and BAM my fingers were smashed harder than ever before & they HURT... And believe me I was so ready to use some bad words and cry but I didn't ... not sure why but I was BRAVE! But today I am feeling kind of wimpy & want to complain all day about my sore fingers.... almost broke them on a plastic toy... this is just one more reason not to buy plastic toys!!! BUT once it was put together & we got Espen to use it he took off and ran Shanna over... that made us both laugh like crazy... so was it worth $20 and some smashed fingers... absolutely!!

And today ~ it is Monday ~ the weather is partly cloudy & we are off to IKEA... oh I love that place! But in fairness this is my sisters request! So right after nap we are leaving for the big yellow & blue Swedish store! We'll have lunch & do some shopping & probably laugh like goofballs at something. And I am quite sure we will come home with some junk we NEED!!

And today we'll take some fun fotos! So we can post them all over the place! But let's just hope nothing gets broken!
