Happy Valentines Day!
Do you ever hold onto something for so long during the day that it wrecks your whole day? Well I did that today. I got mad at my boarder this morning for keeping most of us up later than we should have been. When I said something about it & how he had the luxury of sleeping during the day, he got snappy & advised me to "get over myself". And that pissed me off so I told him he was disrespectful to me, the 12 year old, Doug & Espen and that he needed to watch himself. To which he responded with a "whatever". And I then gave him a directive to be home by 10. It is now after 10 & he is not home, nor have I heard from him. And so all day I was just short. It sometimes meant that I missed precious moments with my beautiful little boy... tomorrow won't be that way.
But my day was not all bad... it was sunny & I played outside with Espen. We got our garden tools out... may be a bit early but it was nice! It was also nice to sit on the back porch in the sun at 9am with coffee & watch Espen so happy in the mud!!
And I got a card in the truck when I took my 12 year old guest to school (yea me.. we made it on time!). And then I got some flowers delivered by my own husband to my little job... how sweet is that. And I ate a frozen pizza, salad & a delish fruit tart.... And I played LIFE with my 12 year old guest... he likes games it seems... board games.... so it was a fun ending to my crazy day...
Tomorrow is a new day... and I'll let go of my flustrations... I believe the boarder goes to a tournament this weekend so I won't have to look at him chilling in his pj's playing a video game so violent I can't let the baby downstairs.... I can NOT wait til the end of march when this is over!!
