Hum... It has been a good few days. And as such, there were great house guests here and they left today back to Norway. Espen had so much fun singing & reading & playing the last few days that he was a bit lonely for some company today. I was so appreciative of how they treated my beautiful little boy.... never made me feel like he didn't belong... he is part of something much larger than just my little family.... he is an extension of so many. He is loved unconditionally by the best people. And it shows.

Besides the great fun Espen had, Doug & I had a lovely visit as well. It was so enjoyable to sit, have drinks, eat food & laugh! It was great to see our friend from Illinois & our friends from Norway!!

And today everyone is gone.... back to their corner of the world. So we are getting back to "normal".

I hope I can save my pennies to take a vacation this summer.... perhaps not to Norway this year but soon... I want Espen to be able to sit still for a few minutes before I try that long of a plane ride! So we have to practice this year! I hope to offer my little boy these fantastic people & experiences so that he can know he is part of a much bigger "family".... it makes me feel good....
