I worked today and it was beautiful and sunny outside... but I am quite positive that there will be more great days!! We drove home from Dodge City yesterday... it was a long drive (anything longer than 2 hours is long!!)... and Espen stayed awake most of the way. He is such a trooper. And I am so thankful that he can sit so long without tv to entertain him. Yes sure it would be easy if he would watch some cartoon for hours and we could just drive.. but it is so entertaining most of the time for him to talk & play & look out the windows. He does great! And every trip I think.. he will sleep... but NO he just stays awake!! But at the end of the day, it was a great trip (although short) to Kansas to visit Anders. I will plan better next time & perhaps my sister will meet me there with the kids!! And then tonight, Doug, Anders, Jane & I went to dinner at HIRO. It was great fun! A nice relaxed adult evening... these are few & far in between but well worth it when it happens! And now it is late & I'm tired... and going to bed... tomorrow is a new day.. hopefully it will be nice in the morning because I want to clean out my front flower beds in preparation of SPRING!! (and there is a DONUT PROFESSOR in Bellevue now... so we are getting DONUTS!)
