I have taken a break. I had visitors that I spent my late nights with. It was lovely & frustrating all at the same time. And not long enough. I swear I need just a week with my girl!! It was so nice to have all three of these amazing young adults here. And truely enjoyable to spend time chatting about the life choices they are making. The fears, the excitements, the frustrations of growing up! It is so nice to be part of their lives. Unfortunately there was a smidge of grouchy behavior and hurt feelings but we laid in bed & apologized & laughed. And I love them. And I am so glad to have them as a part of my family.

Today I was back to a "normal" schedule. Gym, zoo, outside play on the new playground in the back yard! I think it is Espen's favorite thing right now. First he loved the sandbox, now the swings. He still wants in the sand but will slide for a long time! If I can just get the neighbor kids to stop hanging on my fence. Today I yelled at one of them for attempting to jump the fence to retrieve a ball while the dogs were in the yard. I saw it happening from the kitchen & stepped out to yell at the kid. That's me... making friends!

And tomorrow... back to the gym... and some grocery shopping perhaps... and I pray it is sunny....
