I'm in Dodge City...we watched Anders fly today & Espen was so upset that he didn't get to go... it is an interesting & awesome sight to see someone so young do something so challenging & with such a powerful machine.

We also went to a "private" lake near the middle of the city to swim.... and one has to be a member to swim there. With NO ONE at the lake on a 90 degree day, they should have let me pay some money so we could have used it!! So instead we went to the little pool.... cheap to get in but we broke rules left & right.... took our own food in, I moved the lifegaurd chair so I could sit in it, Espen wanted to go down slide & started up it only to be told he could not (even though the posted rules didn't limit him - I didn't feel like getting bitchy). So we swam for about an hour.

Then we went to the zoo... there are 2 new wolf cubs. From Oklahoma! And Espen threw Anders hat into the bison exhibit (behind the electric fence). Anders jumped down & got it...

What a day.... but we all made it through safely!!
