Who CARES
I am not as worried as some about the littlest things. My little boy is amazing and wonderful and THREE! He uses a bink at night. Who cares. He had dentist appointment a month ago & his teeth are perfectly developing & healthy & cavity free. He will only drink warm milk. Who cares. Even at a restaurant or traveling. I have learned to be ready & prepared to ask or get it. Even in cereal he will ask for warm milk but that is just odd so I'm training him to drink cold cereal milk! But really it doesn't matter. He likes to play in his underpants. Who cares. I don't. He hates shoes. Who cares. He plays inside and outside without shoes. It doesn't matter. I would rather him wear shoes of course but he is healthy. He is rarely injured. He is just not going to put shoes on for the day. We don't wear shoes much in the house anyway - helps keep the dirt down. Funny the older folks in our family get so irrationally upset that he doesn't wear shoes. Yes maybe in a number of years he will have bone spurs like mommy but right now his little feet do not want to be in shoes. Who cares! My son believes in magic, plays with imaginary friends & balls, and in general I encourage such creative intersctions. I have carried invisible friends in my purse, I have played football with imaginary balls and I pretend to disappear when he says the magic words! Who cares! He is smart and we can imagine. I don't see a problem with a healthy imagination. He is wonderfully creative and I roll with it. And who cares .... Wouldnt we all like to have an imaginary friend or do magic or always catch the football!!
I am glad my baby is a little boy. I am glad we can play & laugh & learn. I am glad he is happy & healthy. He is an amazing spirit. He is my son and who cares if he weArs shoes or needs a bink at night. Who cares if he doesn't like to wear pants or shoes. We should all hope for such carefree days.
At the end of the day I know my son is polite and kind. He has moments of frustration and aggregation. And WHO CARES about all the little stuff..... Let me worry about the bigger stuff!
