Fast Food Weird

Today I past by the new CHIK-FIL-A opening near us and was super surprised to see that there were side of the about 50 crazy tents out and tons of people.  It opens tomorrow.  The second location opens near DIETZE MUSIC tomorrow as well so a quick trip there confirmed that campers were also sleeping out there.  People with families.  It was strangely bizarre!

It made me think about what I would have camped out for.  I have actually never done so.  I have gotten up very early and driven 30 minutes to be first in line for the Black Friday sale at Victoria Secrets.  I have waited in line for 3 hours a ride on a roller coaster.  I have stood outside in the freezing cold (let me stress FREEZING) for some autographs on my jersey.  I have waited for things.... But I have not camped out for anything. 


I get the excitement of the new fast food place in town!  I am excited!  The food is great!  The play place is awesome!  Hopefully the service will rock!  But I am not so excited that I will camp out with my little one!  I would have never considered actually camping out for a FAST FOOD chain!!  

And what makes me smile is thinking about my family members camping out for a chicken sandwich.  My husband maybe waiting for a cheeseburger!  Yea... that makes me laugh!!
