Well hello....
Like a lost friend I am back. I have been consumed and overwhelmed with life. And literally very little time to sit and process. The last couple days, we have developed a routine and I can see some relief. I have noticed that besides my studio, one of the things I miss when there is quiet around me is my blog. So let me share the journey....
In a nutshell ~ we looked for homes outside of town and found nothing we wanted. We lucked into a builder that we felt great about and designed a home that meets our needs. Ground was broken in October and we listed our house in mid October hoping we would be able to ride out the holidays without moving. Within 8 days we had an offer and the closing was December 10. So we found a rental house in the town we are building in and we have moved into it. So the month of November was a blur of packing, moving and stress. And really continued until just a few days ago.
Our new home is progressing with amazing speed and is exciting and fun to go look and watch. Espen is happy there. Free and curious. He will be at home I think when we settle into it and make the space his.
Our daily routine is much smoother than it was in November and we have time for thought and quiet. It is the tunnel we can finally see the end of.
That being said... I can now think about the things I have not had time for... mailing gifts, mailing clothing and enjoying the season with my family! And I can get my blogs back!!! OH YEA!
