From a book....

I stayed up entirely to late reading last night & was again awake with MR. CUTENESS at 3:45am for some milk... I suspect last night he was thirsty because it was HOT in his room. But he goes right back to sleep while I lay awake "thinking" and listening to the birds (why are they chirping at 4am?) and tossing and wishing that we didn't have cats that wanted to sleep in the bed with me and that the dog would stop licking himself.... when I finally fell back to sleep it was time to get up and I heard "MA MA MA MA MA MA" and ooohhhhh he was rested and HAPPY!!

So the book was good ~ if you want to borrow mine I'm happy to share it! It was a "thinker". And near the end there is a great passage that I feel like sharing....

There are moments in everyone's life that showed you that you weren't the person you thought. Maybe these moments taught you something good about yourself, or shamed you. Whether you kept them to yourself or spent you time talking to anybody who'd listen in an effort to decode their meaning, or to reshape the truth until it became something you could live with, depended on the person.

These moments may nudge us toward kindness??? Might they? It was a moving passage that you don't need the book to think about...

I'm so glad my dear friend Sarah came over tonight bearing dinner & she played & tolerated a wild mostly naked little boy! And my company! It was LOVELY!! And I appreciated her & the company!! And Espen loves the attention!!

And my big loser competition against my sister... well I walked again & played on my WII... and there will be no photos today... because I'm to tired to go get my camera... the couch is calling me and then I'm going to bed!
