my SISTER broke it!!
I spent so much time laughing yesterday that my sides hurt! We started our day off with a "weigh IN" for our own biggest LOSER competition... then continued with some rushing around getting dressed & ready for the APPRAISAL! It was at 9:30am and although by some standards that is not early, it felt it yesterday! Of all the day's to not take a nap, it was yesterday and after a solid hour in his crib & being unhappy ~ he WON the battle & I got him up. And he played and visited with Carrie and was CALM! Shanna played a good joke on her hubby for April FOOL'S day (didn't work but clever). So when appraisal was done Espen finally decided to take a nap and Shanna & I were sitting out back enjoying sweet tea & the SUN! (It was 
10:30am!)We were laughing & joking & having fun when suddenly SHANNA leaned over and was in the middle of a sentence when her chair just flew apart! HOLY COW I nearly fell over laughing so hard. The chair literally just collapsed and she was in it. Thankfully her sweet tea was saved! the chair however.... didn't make it. Puente even ran off with some of the parts! Man we laughed....
THEN we went to MCDONALD'S for some delish lunch! And off to the BEACH!! OH YEA!! The weather was 80 and beautiful! We had a lovely spot on Miller Beach and played in the sand, the water & collected some rocks! Espen was the best naked boy on the beach & was only upset because the water was so cold & he wanted to be in it! It was FANTASTIC!
Then we were home chillin the rest of the day ~ and laughing! We played some word game on her iPod for hours it seemed and I constantly LOST. She plays more than I do so naturally she is better... but I felt like a real idiot.
AND today (Friday) my sister has left. It was sad for me because I really enjoyed her company but I am quite sure she misses her hubby & kids.
We agreed on Tuesday after sitting on the couch eating some snacks & watching the biggest loser that we would have our own competition. So a 7 week competition is now happening between us. We weighed in & know where we started... and in 7 weeks when Espen turns 1 we will have our final weigh in... I'll keep you posted on MY progress and if you are lucky, Shanna will comment on her progress!! I intend to win because if I do ~ she is going to get me a new pair of jeans!!! OH YEA!!
i watch the biggest loser every tuesday after i get home from work. we have something like that at work and i have lost a total of 11lbs. so far since the show started. i weighed in at 158 and now weigh 147, sofar,so good diane tia's mom.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is awesome!! It was silly & ironic because we were eating chips & candy when we watched it & feeling like we were very lazy... so we challenged ourselves... need to be more healthy!! :)
ReplyDeleteour group at work is called medilodge melt down cause i work at medilodge of yale i am a cna there. good luck in losing your weight and reaching your goal. my goal is to lose at least another 15lbs. i hope i can do it. diane
