Roach update

The Orkin man was here yesterday and examined my ROACH... yes indeed I was correct. I however DO NOT (let me repeat ~ DO NOT) have a roach problem. Feel safe when you visit me! It seems in the great state of Nebraska, there are wood roaches, water roaches & the disgusting one is called a german roach. And what I have are wood roaches. They live in my walnut tree & are attracted to the lights at night like a moth. GROSS. And had I not been attacked & killed the beast, what Orkin sprays the house with would have eventually done the trick. But none the less I was grossed out. And hope that I don't see another one inside the house or flying at me at night. GROSS.

I've had some issues with getting an electrician to come & give me a quote on installing a 220 for my kilns. And the plumber yesterday frankly told me there was little chance in getting water out there unless I wanted to demolish several walls. But who can believe in this economy that 2 electric companies told me it would be to expensive, that I would not want it done & so they were not even going to give me a quote because they were to busy. WTF. So the one company wins! Now we just need to clean up the garage some so he can find his way!

I had a cool fathers day gift in the garage & the father who lives here was searching for something & found it.... UGH... so happy fathers day!

Today Espen & I are going to the pool with our new friend and her teens. Based on our past experience with older kids & Espen ~ he will love them! But I'm looking forward to some pool time!!
