After 2 days of being in the house we had to go out for milk. So we ran 3 errands... Aldi for milk (great price), Walgreens for some pictures to send to Tia & to the library. Funny how different communities need you to prove your address and what the card consists of. In Bellevue I needed a picture ID & anything that had my address on it. I had my registration ~ that worked. BUT funny thing I could get a library card for any one I put on the list... So I got Doug & Anders one! The odds of them GOING to the library are small... but hey.. they can now!! Maybe one day they will want to take Espen!
Last night I had finished the 3rd book in a GREAT series... The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest... It was a fascinating read and I was sad to finish it. The books were written by a Swedish man who has since died. Recall if you will that previously I mentioned that I had read 3 books by Jo Nesbo, a Norwegian that I was enchanted with.
So my style at the library or the book store because there are SO many books is to select one based on solely the title or the title/cover picture. It is RARE that I read what it is about. If it says anywhere on it that it is the debut work for that author I'm IN. So I've read some odd stuff and some fantastic stuff. Today was no different. I was with Espen, time was short! So I selected a book called I CURSE THE RIVER OF TIME and it has a portion of a life saving ring on it & a blury backdrop of water... looked interesting.
When I got it home I discovered it is written by a Norwegian.... what are the freaking ODDS?? I will read it and see if it is any good!!
At this moment my beautiful little son is playing in his to small bath robe & slippers in front of the fireplace dancing because he can see himself in the sunlight reflection. It is super cute!! And in 20 minutes Hannah will be here so I can go off to my little job..... and life continues...
