I work at an awesome place. The staff are so nice, personable & appreciate my lack of music knowledge as much as my experience with people & humans! It is perhaps one of the best parts of moving to Nebraska. And I appreciate them. I appreciate the understanding with Espen & my inability to get places ON TIME. And I appreciate that the things that are important to me they inquire about. So nice....So if you are ever in my area, and want to stop at a great music store, stop at Diezte Music in Bellevue!
I also met an awesome medical doctor. Have you ever been to a doctor & actually felt like you were more than just a quick dollar? This doctor today actually saw me in his office and as a new patient he scheduled over an hour with me... UNINTERRUPTED. It was impressive. He took time to listen, explain & question. And make a plan for me. One I feel good about trying. I don't know if it will work but I am open to trying. So instead of being ushered through like some number, I felt like a person with some needs that were being heard.
So the plan at the moment includes sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress relief, hormone balance & spirituality. He has prescribed some vitamins, melatonin, omega 3, vitamin d3. Limited coffee & caffeine. Better food. More exercise. Hot baths. Better sleep. I am open to trying. If it will help with the stress & tears & irritional thoughts. They are testing my hormones & other panels of stuff. It was a great experience. I am hopeful.... and I appreciate the offer of help from Kellie & that Hannah didn't have school today so that there was great care for my baby. (I love him.)
On that note.... it is just reaffirmed in my mind that we need to slow down & actually give people our time and listen. Instead of rush rush and technology... wouldn't it be great to just have that personal connection? It felt nice to be listened to.
