March... in like ...

We traveled back to Omaha from Dodge City in a terrible storm that brought tornado's across 3 states that killed and left massive amounts of destruction.  And I was thankful that we were either ahead or behind the storm and that we were safe.  I am saddened for the families across the Midwest that lost much. 

The end of February brought us a trip to the hospital and another "missing" little boy... during some snow Espen followed me outside, I didn't know it and BAM he was gone.  Up the street with no shoes or coat in the snow.  Thankfully a kind neighbor saw me running around screaming and saw my son a block and a half away and he walked him home.  I was just near calling the police.  He is incredibly fast.  He is incredibly independent.  He is incredibly brave.  I am incredibly nervous about ever stepping outside my door for even a split second. 

And we are just steps away from potty training....  he wears underpants daily.  He never tells me he needs to pee... I have to remember to make him.  But poop... he remembers and goes to bathroom.  He has very few poop accidents.  Some days however I change lots of underpants!!  He is going to get it!  Real soon....

So now we are into March..... and I am curious about what March will bring for us....  I hope it is not as crazy as the end of February....
